Scope: This Policy applies to all personal information we collect from clients and visitors within Australia. We only provide services to Australian residents (or non-residents who require Australian Tax Agent Services).
We only collect information that is reasonably necessary for our functions as a provider of accounting and financial services. The types of personal information we may collect include:
We collect personal information directly from you when you engage our services, complete our contact form, communicate with us via email or phone, or attend meetings with our team. We do not collect personal information from third parties without your knowledge unless required by law.
We use your personal information to provide accounting, tax, and financial advisory services; to communicate with you regarding your matters; to comply with legal obligations (including ATO and ASIC reporting); and to improve our services.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may disclose information to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), ASIC, or other government bodies as required by law. We may engage third-party service providers (e.g. Xero) who are bound by appropriate confidentiality and privacy obligations.
Tax File Numbers (TFNs) are treated with the highest level of confidentiality in accordance with the Tax File Number Guidelines. We will never disclose your TFN except where required by law or with your explicit consent.
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access or disclosure. We use encrypted file storage, secure email, and access-controlled practice management software.
